Start of extensive R&D on Clay-Polymer nano composites. Successfully develop a super absorbent based on clay minerals which absorbs >300 times water of its own weight. Starts the process to establish a new unit to produce 15 tons of super absorbent per day in Gujarat
With environmental clearance awaited, the company sets up a pilot project in Howrah for the same super absorbent and commercial production to start during September 2020
